Parishioners of St. Elijah,

As we come to the close of the 2009 year, I wanted to remind you of some details as many of you complete your pledges for the year.

As you recall, New Year’s Day occurs this Friday, so all checks dated for the 2009 year, can be processed the following business day, which is Monday, January 4^th, 2010.

However, for this to occur, please note that 1) the checks must be dated December 31, 2009 (or before) and if you plan to mail it to the church, 2) they must be post marked by December 31, 2009.  There will be no exceptions to this policy.  If you wish these pledge payments to be on your 2009 statement, and you feel that you cannot meet these requirements, then I encourage you to bring your payment directly to the church by December 31^st during office hours.

As a reminder, we do accept credit card payments (MasterCard / Visa) over the phone; please contact Kay at 405-755-7804.  Again, these credit card payments must occur prior to, or on to the 31^st  to be appled to the 2009 year.

We want to send all of our love, support and congratulations to the following members of the 20/40 Fellowship group that joined our church through baptism and chrismation at 2:30pm on Saturday, Dec 12th.

Sympathy is extended to Muhsen and Balgees Sweis and all the Sweis family on the repose of their cousin Rageb Sweis in Jordan on December 12. May his memory be eternal.

Sympathy is extended to Shelly Fox and family on the tragic repose of her nephew, Dylan Bays, on December 8 at age 18. May his memory be eternal.
